Safe, Respectful Environment
Sydney Creek is a secured-perimeter building that provides a level of safety for Alzheimer’s and dementia care residents. Some may view a secured building to be restrictive and not necessary. However, we encourage families to think about the independence and respect a resident truly gains by having this element of safety. Agitation from hovering caregivers, alarms sounding, or wander guard systems are eliminated for residents.
At Sydney Creek, a resident can walk out to their backyard whenever they choose and enjoy their new-found freedom.
